Sunday Roll Call
Good Evening Everyone!
What a day today. I got the cats signed up for a low cost clinic for shots and it was today. We had to round up all 6 of them and get them in carriers. Fluffer tried the closet escape plan but it did not work as Rick crawled in after him. My bedroom closet is about 6 feet deep. So it is a good hide out for the cats. But Fluffer got outsmarted. He actually did well. He only cried going and then sucked up the attention that everyone was giving! It still was a big bill for all the cats but much cheaper than taking them into individual vet appointments. It was about half price. Buffy also got chipped.
After we got the cats home Rick and I headed to the grocery store for the weekly shopping. Fortunately the weather was in the mid 30's so it was not freezing likek they had predicted.
Sharon, we made the catio by attaching a screened in tent room to the house and cutting and installing a cat door in the storm door. Rick added some 2x4's for stability. I dont worry about fleas but will probably do a flea treatment on the grass this year. With it being fine screened not much rain or snow gets in. It has a canvas top so they do not have the sun shining down on them directly. The zipper door is on the outside so we can access it from the outside as well. It has worked well. In a few years I may make it a more permanent structure. But the cats absolutely love it. It has been well worth the money for the screen room. I also have a fabulous dentist here in LaSalle. He does excellent work. Dont know if you want to travel that far but his name is Dr. Ed Monroe and the phone is (815) 223-6013. He has a face book page.
Crystal, I am so sorry you are putting up with the games at work. I think all work places have some of it. There are a few at my job and I just ignore them.
Chris, I am glad you are enjoying your tablet. They are so nice.
Lisa, I hope all is well with you. Dont wook too hard today.
Carla, you will be here again before we know it. I am sure you miss that cutie pie.
